Remon was born on January 28, 1971 and has been spinning for more than 10 years now. At early age, Remon developed a fascination for music. He began buying records when he was ten and he started his own Drive-in-Show, influenced by disco and funk at that time.
After experiencing electronical music, his musical preference changed to electronic (house) music preferably House and Electro House . His style is best to be described as a DJ who plays house in all it’s divercity’s in a seamless way, always with the dance floor in mind, which contributes much to his success. Dark Jackin Sexy Electronic House is the way he describes the style himself.
1994- Lacroix started Deejaying professionally. After spinning for 4 years he was invited to rock the dance floor of the Nighttown
(Rotterdams premier club at that time). He was picked up by the public and started deejaying on Saturdays weekly.
1996- Lacroix played for the first time on the MTC party at the cruise terminal building in Rotterdam were he really rocked the place. Ted Langenbach (founder of the famous MTC partys) decided to make him official resident, Lacroix started his weekly residency on Sundays at the Bimbo Complex at the Maastheater in 1998. For two years in a row he was playing weekly on the crowded clubnight and the two monthly Superbimbo partys.
2000-, Lacroix was really involved in the new club Now and Wow in Rotterdam. Remon has his own club night on Saturdays were he performs frequently together with big names from the country and outside like; DeepDish,Roger Sanchez,Sneak,Frankie Knuckles,Gene Farris, Doc Martin, Derrick Carter, Smokin Jo, Shakedown, Danny Howells, Tom Stephan,Jack de Marseille Monica Kruse and many many more...
After moving Now and Wow to a brand new massive location (6000m2) in 2005, Lacroix is still one of the key players at this great venue combining playing at Now and Wow with his busy schedules. For Now and Wow he mixed several compilations and his latest CD sold over 20.000 copy¬�in Holland only!
Lacroix played at the Gergiev festival, together with conductor Gergiev and the Rotterdam philharmonic orchestra.
Lacroix is also founder of the Liberated party¬�in Rotterdam. With no doubt this is the biggest en best gay event in Holland for more than four years and still rockin. For liberated he released his first mixed DVD as a total experience for the crowd.
At this moment he is playing next to his Residency`s in almost every main club in Holland and at all mayor festivals.
Also abroad Lacroix is a rising star. After Jerusalem, Istanbul, Egypt, Switzerland and Norway he has a Barcelona residency in his pocket!
2006 promises again a great year for Lacroix! Also you can expect some brand new hot releases this summer!!
